CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

This page explains how cancellations and refunds work for Practice Thinkers. It is written in plain English and should be read alongside our Terms of Service.

1. Quick summary

There are two different purchase routes:

  1. Apple In-App Purchase (iOS subscriptions for individual players)

  • Apple handles payments, cancellation, and (where available) refunds.

  1. Website / invoice purchases (consultations and organisation plans such as colleges/NGBs)

  • We handle payments, cancellation, and refunds for purchases made directly from us.

2. iOS App subscriptions (Apple In-App Purchase)

If you purchased an individual subscription inside the iOS app using Apple In-App Purchase:

How to cancel

You can cancel in your Apple ID subscription settings. Your access will continue until the end of the current billing period.

Refunds

Refund requests (where available) are handled by Apple under Apple’s policies. We do not control Apple’s refund decisions.

3. Website purchases (consultations and other services bought on our website)

If you purchased a service directly from us through the Practice Thinkers website (for example, a consultation booking or an organisation plan purchased via the website or invoice):

How to cancel

Email us at peter@practicethinkers.com with:

  • the email address used for the purchase

  • what you purchased (and booking date/time if relevant)

  • your request (cancel / reschedule / refund)

Your 14-day right to cancel (consumers)

If you are a consumer, you may have the right to cancel within 14 days of purchase without giving a reason, unless an exception applies (for example, where you asked for immediate supply of digital content and you acknowledge you will lose the right to cancel once supply starts).

Consultations

  • If we cancel your consultation, you can choose a reschedule or a full refund.

  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the scheduled start time, or you do not attend, we may charge the full fee (unless cancellation rights apply under consumer law).

4. Organisation plans (colleges / squads / NGBs)

Organisation access is often purchased via invoice or agreed business terms. Refunds/cancellation for organisation plans will be handled in line with the agreed terms for that organisation. If you are an organisation admin and need help, email peter@practicethinkers.com.
